About Us

Rumble Entertainment is a production company dedicated to producing premium IP-driven content for film, television and digital media. Rumble specializes in remaking international genre and Asian-sourced films and television programs into English language content for a global audience.

Since its founding, the company has also launched Caspian Media Capital, a film fund joint venture with Well Go USA – a leading theatrical and home entertainment distribution company specializing in bringing genre and Asian content to North American audiences. Together, we produce movies for worldwide appeal.

GREGORY CHOU

Gregory Chou is a partner of Rumble Entertainment and oversees the company’s film fund, Caspian Media Capital. He is currently producing several feature film and television projects based on international IP formats. Other producer credits include the action-thriller Kidnap starring Halle Berry, Kai Barry’s Newcomer, and Kepler-X47.

Prior to launching Rumble, Chou was a partner at FilmEngine Entertainment. FilmEngine produced over a dozen feature films including The Butterfly EffectLucky Number Slevin, and The Rum Diary. Previously, Chou spent several years at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) focused on the packaging and financing of feature films, as well as the structuring of film funds and film finance companies. Prior to working in movies, Chou began his entertainment career in music at Sony and Virgin Records/EMI. While at Sony, he helped launch VEVO.com, the #1 most-visited music website in the U.S.

Chou is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering, both at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University.

DORIS PFARDRESCHER

Doris Pfardrescher is a partner in Rumble’s film fund and helps oversee the financing and production responsibilities of Caspian Media Capital.  She served as an Executive Producer on Kidnap, starring Halle Berry.  Doris is also the CEO and President of Well Go USA, the joint venture partner with Rumble Entertainment. Well Go USA is the leading distribution label that specializes in bringing Asian, Genre and Independent films to North America.

As the premier distributor of Asian and martial arts films, Well Go’s most popular releases include the Ip Man franchise, as well as numerous other films starring Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Andy Lau, from notable directors such as Johnnie To, Wilson Yip, and Takashi Shimizu. Well Go USA releases five to eight new titles a month in theaters and multiple home media platforms, and is currently expanding their distribution territories throughout Asia and Europe.
